Microservices exploration

An independent extension of an OpenClassrooms project, exploring an API gateway, user and chat services, centralized authentication and WebSockets.

Goal

Explore and extend a functional full-stack architecture, with separate services for identity, profiles and real-time messaging.

Architecture

An API gateway provides a single entry point and centralizes routing, security and communication with internal services. Keycloak manages accounts, sign-in and roles; the user and chat services remain separate, each with its own data.

Application and real-time messaging

The Angular frontend consumes the APIs through the gateway. The chat service manages conversations and real-time communication over WebSockets.

Scope

This repository is an architecture sandbox, separate from Monde de Devs. It builds on ideas from project 10 of the Lead Developer Java Angular program and extends them into a separate implementation. It does not describe the architecture of the social application.
